Juicy, spiced beef koftas grilled until lightly charred and served with warm naan and a fresh yogurt salad.

This Recipe Contains

600g (1.3 lb) beef mince
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp olive oil
150g (1/2 cup) Greek yogurt
1/4 of a cucumber, finely diced
1 tomato, deseeded and diced
4 slices naan bread
s&p
12 skewers
Fresh mint leaves, handful, chopped

Instructions

In a bowl, combine beef mince, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, egg, s&p.

Shape mince into around 12 small cylindrical kebabs. Thread onto wooden skewers.

Heat up a grill pan or outdoor grill. Cook kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and charred.

Mix Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, diced tomato, and fresh mint leaves. Season with s&p.

Warm up naan bread in a dry skillet, toaster, or microwave.

Serve the kebabs alongside the naan and the salad.
